About the course

Why I Created This Course

Let me tell you something honest.

I have been teaching computer networking for many years. I have seen 11,000 students across 110 countries. Most of them are smart people. Good engineers. Hardworking professionals. And in the last two years, I started getting messages that I never used to get before.

"Vishnu, my team got restructured. I lost my job." "Vishnu, my company replaced our department with AI tools." "Vishnu, I have 12 years of experience and I cannot find a job. What do I do?"

I am in the technology industry. I see what is happening from the inside. And believe me, what is happening right now is not like other technology changes. This is different. This is bigger.

I know a person. Let us call him Rahul. Rahul worked at an IT company for 14 years. He was a good performer. His appraisals were always positive. He thought his job was safe because he had so much experience. Then one morning, he got a calendar invite. The subject line said "Important Update." In that meeting, 200 people were told their positions were being eliminated. Rahul was one of them.

Rahul called me that evening. He was not just worried about the job. He was panicking about his EMI. His daughter's school fees. His parents who depend on him. He had no emergency fund. He did not understand what AI really is or why it was happening. He felt completely lost.

That phone call is why this course exists.

I am not a financial advisor. I am not an economist. I am a teacher. And what I saw was that good people like Rahul needed three things urgently. First, they needed to understand what is really happening in the job market and why AI is different this time. Second, they needed practical guidance on how to manage money when income stops suddenly. Third, they needed honest, simple information about AI so they could make a real plan, not just be afraid.

This course is 15 hours. It covers all three things. I will not sell you false hope. I will not tell you "do not worry, everything is fine." But I will give you clear thinking, honest advice, and a real framework to move forward.

If you or someone you love is going through this, this course is for you.

What This Course Will Do For You

This is a 15-hour course. Not 2 hours. Not 5 hours. 15 hours.

Why? Because these are serious topics and they deserve serious attention. We go deep. We go slowly. We make sure you actually understand what is happening and what you need to do.

After this course, you will understand why AI is taking jobs and why this time is genuinely different from past technology disruptions. You will know exactly how to calculate your real monthly expenses honestly, not the number you tell yourself, but the real number. You will have a solid 180-day survival plan that you can build for your own situation. You will know what to say to your bank if you cannot pay your EMI. You will finally understand what AI actually is, in plain simple language with no jargon. You will know which jobs are most at risk and which jobs are safer. And most importantly, you will have a real 12-month personal action plan that is specific to you.

This course will not find you a job. It will not give you a magic skill that solves everything overnight. But it will give you clarity when everything feels confusing. And right now, clarity is the most valuable thing you can have.

Free preview is available. You can watch the first two classes of this course completely free, no credit card needed, before you decide to enroll.

  • You are afraid of losing your job because of AI and you want to prepare
  • You have heard about AI taking jobs but you do not really understand what AI is

This course is NOT for you if:

  • You already have a clear 12-month financial and career plan in place
  • You are looking for a technical AI course that teaches you to build AI systems (this course is not that)
  • You want a quick 1-hour overview without depth (we go deep here)
  • You want someone to tell you everything will be fine without honest conversation

The Real Problem This Course Solves

Let me tell you what usually happens when someone loses their job.

Anjali is a 35-year-old business analyst. She has worked hard for 11 years. She earned well. She always thought her job was secure because she understood the business deeply. Then her company adopted a new AI platform that could do most of what her team did in half the time. Her entire team of 14 people was reduced to 3.

Anjali is now at home. And the problem is not just the lost income. The problem is she does not know what is happening. She reads news about AI every day but she does not understand it. She reads articles about "upskilling" but she does not know where to start or what skills actually matter for her situation. She has three EMIs running. She does not know whether to talk to the bank or wait. She does not know how many months her savings will actually last if she calculates honestly.

She is intelligent. She is hardworking. She is completely lost.

This course is the answer to Anjali's situation. We start from the beginning. Why is AI different this time? How do you calculate your real financial runway honestly? What do you say to the bank? What does AI actually mean for someone in her role? What is the real, practical action plan for the next 12 months?

We answer all of this. Step by step. In plain English.

What you will learn

Module 1: Why AI is Taking Jobs and Why This Time is Different (Approximately 1.5 hours)
Before we do anything else, we need to understand what is actually happening. Not the news version. Not the scary version. The honest version. In this module, we look at how technology has disrupted jobs throughout history. What happened when ATMs came. What happened when the internet came. What happened when outsourcing came. Each time, people said "this will destroy jobs." Each time, the economy adapted. But AI is different. And we need to understand exactly why. We look at what AI can do today that no previous technology could do. We look at which industries are changing the fastest. We look at why even experienced professionals are affected. And we look at what this honestly means for the next 5 to 10 years. No panic. No false hope. Just clear, honest understanding.

Module 2: How to Handle the Emotional Shock of Losing a Job (Approximately 1 hour)
This is not a therapy course. But this module exists because I have seen what happens when people skip this step. When you lose your job, the first thing that needs attention is not your resume. It is your thinking. Because if your thinking is clouded by shock, fear, or shame, every other decision you make will be wrong. We talk honestly about what job loss does to a person emotionally. We talk about identity, about self-worth, about the pressure that comes from family and society. We talk about the difference between real fear and imagined fear. And we talk about how to move from reaction to action. Many students tell me this was the session that helped them most.

Module 3: Know What You Are Owed — PF, Gratuity, Severance and Your Rights (Approximately 1.5 hours)
This module is new. And it is one of the most important ones in this course. Most people who get laid off have money coming to them that they either do not know about or do not know how to claim. If you worked somewhere for 5 years or more, you have gratuity. You have provident fund. You may have severance pay. You may have earned leave encashment. Together, this can be a significant amount. Enough to extend your financial runway by months. In this module, we walk through each entitlement one by one. What is PF and how to withdraw it correctly. What is gratuity, who qualifies, and how to calculate it. What severance pay is and what your company is legally required to give you. What earned leave encashment means. And what to do if your company is not paying what they owe. Believe me, this one module could put more money in your pocket than anything else in this course. Most people simply do not ask because they do not know they should.

Module 4: How to Calculate Your Real Monthly Expenses Honestly (Approximately 1.5 hours)
Most people, when they estimate their monthly expenses, say a number that is 30 to 40 percent lower than what they actually spend. Right? Be honest with yourself. We all do this. In this module, we go through every category of expense. Rent or home loan EMI. Groceries. School fees. Vehicle. Insurance. Subscriptions. Eating out. Medical. Parents. Everything. We build a complete, honest picture. Because you cannot build a survival plan on wrong numbers. You need the real number. And most people have never sat down and calculated it honestly. By end of this module, you will know your actual monthly burn rate. This one number will change how clearly you think about your situation.

Module 5: How to Build a 180-Day Survival Plan When Income Stops (Approximately 2 hours)
Now that we know the real number, we build the plan. In this module, I teach you how to think about financial survival the same way an engineer thinks about a system. You identify what is critical. You identify what can be deferred. You identify what can be reduced. You prioritize. We cover your savings runway. We cover which expenses to protect at all costs and which ones can be paused. We cover what to do when 180 days is not enough. This is not generic financial advice. This is practical, specific, and honest guidance for people going through a real crisis.

Module 6: What to Say to Your Bank When You Cannot Pay Your EMI (Approximately 1.5 hours)
This is one of the most practical modules in the course. And almost nobody teaches this. When people cannot pay their EMI, they do two wrong things. Either they panic and do nothing. Or they ignore it and hope it goes away. Both are wrong. Both make things worse. In this module, we talk about what actually happens when you miss an EMI. We talk about your rights as a borrower. We talk about what banks can and cannot do. We talk about moratorium, restructuring, and how to have a proper conversation with your bank. I will give you the exact language to use. Believe me, most banks are willing to work with you if you communicate properly and early.

Module 7: What AI Actually Is — Explained in Plain Simple Language (Approximately 2 hours)
This is the module I am most proud of in this course. Most explanations of AI are either too technical or too vague. I explain what AI actually is from the ground up. What a large language model is. How it actually learns. Why it can write and code and analyze so well. And most importantly, what it cannot do. I use simple analogies. I use stories. I use examples from everyday life. By end of this module, you will be able to explain AI to your family in simple words. And you will stop being afraid of something you do not understand. Understanding is the beginning of action. Right?

Module 8: What Jobs Are at Risk and What Jobs Are Safe (Approximately 2 hours)
This is the question everyone wants answered. And I will answer it honestly. We go through different categories of jobs. We look at what tasks AI does better than humans today. We look at what humans still do better than any AI system. And we look at how to think about your own job honestly. We also talk about the concept of the centaur. In chess, after computers became better than all humans, a strange thing happened. The best players in the world became teams of humans and computers working together. Those teams beat the computers and they beat the humans. That is the direction jobs are going. Understanding which parts of your work AI will do versus which parts you need to do is critical for your 12-month plan.

Module 9: How AI Actually Works — And Why That Matters for Your Career (Approximately 1.5 hours)
This module is new. And it fills a gap that most AI courses miss completely. Understanding what AI can do is one thing. Understanding how it works underneath changes how you think about your own value. In this module, we go one level deeper. We look at what training data means and why it matters. We look at why AI is very good at pattern recognition but struggles with genuine judgment. We look at why AI cannot truly understand context the way a human who has lived and worked in a domain for 15 years can. And we look at what this means practically for someone who wants to position themselves as the human that AI cannot replace. This is not a technical module. There is no code. No mathematics. Just clear thinking about what is actually happening inside these systems and how that understanding gives you an edge.

Module 10: How to Build Your Personal Action Plan for the Next 12 Months (Approximately 2 hours)
Everything in this course leads to this module. We build your personal 12-month plan. Not a generic plan. Your plan. Based on your financial situation. Based on your skills. Based on your industry. Based on your family situation. We look at the different paths available. Learning AI tools. Transitioning to a different role. Freelancing. Consulting. We look at what is realistic for each situation. We also talk about why learning AI is now a financial decision, not just a career decision. If your income depends on your ability to produce value with your brain, and AI is changing how that value is produced, then understanding and working with AI is no longer optional. It is survival. By end of this module, you will have a real plan. On paper. With real actions and real timelines.

Frequently asked Questions

Q1: I have no background in finance or technology. Can I really take this course?

Yes. Absolutely yes. This course requires nothing. No technical knowledge. No finance knowledge. Nothing. I explain everything from the very beginning. Think about it. The people who need this course most are the ones who are already confused and overwhelmed. If they needed to know things first, the course would not help them. So we start from zero. We assume you know nothing about AI and nothing about personal finance management in a crisis. We build from there. If you can watch a video and understand spoken English, you can take this course. That is the only requirement. Do not worry about your background. I have taught students from 110 countries across very different backgrounds. The "why behind" approach I use works for everyone who is willing to sit and pay attention.

Q2: I lost my job three months ago. Is it too late to take this course?

Not at all. If you have been unemployed for three months without a clear plan, this course is even more important for you now. Three months have passed but the next nine months still need a real strategy. What I see often is that people spend the first few months in a fog of shock, sending resumes, hoping something will come. Then three months pass and the anxiety doubles. This course will help you build clarity on your financial situation right now, understand what is happening in the job market, and build a real plan for the remaining months of your runway. Better three months later than never. Start the free preview today and see what you have been missing.

Q3: My husband or wife lost their job. Can I take this course to help them?

Yes. This is actually a beautiful use of this course. Sometimes the person who lost the job is too emotionally overwhelmed to sit and study. If you are the partner trying to understand the situation and help your family navigate it, this course will give you the same clarity and framework. Many couples go through this together. One watches, both discuss, both build the plan together. That actually works very well. The financial survival plan in Module 4 and the bank conversation guidance in Module 5 are especially useful for the partner who manages household finances. Watch together if you can. If not, watch and explain. Either way works.

Q4: I am a fresh graduate who has not yet found a first job. Is this relevant for me?

Yes, though your situation is slightly different from someone who lost an existing job. The modules on understanding AI, understanding job risk, and building a personal 12-month plan are very relevant for you. For fresh graduates, Module 6 (What AI actually is), Module 7 (What jobs are at risk), and Module 9 (Your 12-month plan) will be the most valuable. The rest will also give you important context. You will enter your career with much clearer thinking about where the world is going. You will start your career with an advantage that most of your peers do not have.

Q5: I am 50 years old with 25 years of experience. Is this course still relevant for me?

Very much so. Senior professionals face a specific version of this problem that is very real. You have deep experience. You have a certain salary expectation. The job market is changing. How do you think about all of this? I address this directly in this course. Experience is not a liability. But experience also does not protect you automatically. The combination of your domain expertise with AI tools is actually your biggest advantage. This course helps you see that clearly and build your plan around it. Age is not the obstacle. Lack of a clear plan is. This course fixes that.

Q6: Why is this course 15 hours? That seems long for this topic.

Fifteen hours is not long. It is appropriate. Here is what I mean. The topics in this course are not simple. Job loss, financial survival, understanding AI, building a plan. Each of these deserves real time. If I tried to cover all of this in 3 hours, I would give you headlines without depth. You would feel like you understand but when you try to apply it, you would be confused. Fifteen hours means we go deep. We cover each module properly. We use examples and stories. We practice thinking together. We build the plan step by step. And when you finish, you actually have something. Not just a feeling that you watched something. A real plan. Real understanding. Real clarity. That is worth 15 hours.

Q7: Can I take the modules out of order?

I recommend going in order, especially for the first time. The course is designed so each module builds on the previous one. Module 3 (calculating expenses) leads directly to Module 4 (building the 180-day plan). Module 6 (understanding AI) sets up Module 7 (which jobs are safe). The flow matters. After you finish the full course once, you can go back to specific modules. Many students re-watch Module 5 (the bank conversation module) before actually talking to their bank. Some re-watch Module 9 (the action plan) every few months to update their plan. That is perfectly fine. But first time, please go in order.

Q8: Does this course cover specific AI tools like ChatGPT?

Module 6 explains what AI is and how tools like ChatGPT actually work under the hood. But this course does not teach you how to use specific AI tools step by step. That is a separate course. The goal of this course is to build understanding and a survival plan first. Once you understand what AI is, why it matters for your career, and what your 12-month plan looks like, then learning specific tools becomes much easier and more purposeful. Think of this course as building the foundation. The tools come after the foundation. For learning AI tools practically, check our upcoming course "Work With AI: Practical Skills for Everyday Professionals."

Q9: Is the financial advice specific to India?

The principles and frameworks apply globally. However, many examples, numbers, and context I use are specific to the Indian job market and Indian financial system. The bank conversation module in particular uses Indian banking context. EMI culture, RBI guidelines, and the specific options available to Indian borrowers are discussed. If you are based outside India, the frameworks are still very useful. But the specific banking and regulatory details will be different in your country. The emotional, career, and AI understanding modules are 100 percent universal and apply everywhere.

Q10: Will there be practical exercises or just videos?

Both. Each module ends with a practical exercise. Something you actually do. In Module 3, you build your real expense calculation. In Module 4, you write your 180-day plan. In Module 9, you write your 12-month personal action plan. These exercises are the most important part of the course. Please do not skip them.Watching videos is learning. Doing the exercises is understanding. The difference is enormous.

Q11: I tried watching YouTube videos about AI and got confused. Will this be different?

Yes. Because this course is designed for people who are confused and overwhelmed. Not for people who already understand the topic. Most YouTube videos about AI are made by people who love AI and assume you are also excited about it. They move fast. They use jargon. I do none of those things. I explain AI the way I explain networking to a complete beginner. From the ground up. With the "why behind" approach. With simple words. With stories. With patience. You will not feel left behind in this course. Start with the free preview and see the difference yourself.

Q12: How much time should I dedicate each week?

This is a self-paced course. You can go as fast or as slow as you want.My recommendation is not to rush. If you are going through a job loss right now, you have a lot happening emotionally and practically. Give yourself permission to go slowly. Maybe 2 to 3 hours per week. That completes the course in about 6 weeks. That is a reasonable pace.If your situation is urgent and you need the financial planning framework quickly, start with Module 3 and Module 4 first and then go back to the beginning. That is not the ideal order but it is better than waiting.

Q13:Is there any interaction with other students or with you directly?

Yes. There is a community where students can ask questions and discuss topics. I also answer questions in the community. You are not alone while taking this course. One of the most powerful things I have seen is students helping each other. Someone who has already navigated a job loss helping someone who is just beginning. That peer support is real and valuable. The community is part of the course experience, not an afterthought.

Q14: What if I start the course and feel it is not working for me?

Start with the free preview before you pay. That is exactly why the free preview exists. Watch how I explain things. See if my pace and style work for you. If it does not feel right after the free preview, do not enroll. No pressure. No hard sell. If you enroll and then feel it is not working, check our refund policy at bridgewhy.com.

Q15:Is this course updated regularly?

The core content of this course covers principles and frameworks that do not change quickly. What it means to lose a job emotionally does not change. How to calculate your expenses honestly does not change. How to talk to your bank does not change. These things are stable. The AI landscape does move fast. As significant new developments happen that change the picture for job security, I will update the relevant modules. When you are enrolled, you get access to updates during your enrollment period. You will always have current content.

Q16: Is this course available in Hindi?

This course is available in English and Hindi both. If you have this package, you will have both courses at the prices of one.

Q17: The English in this course, is it formal or conversational?

Very conversational. I do not teach like a professor reading from a textbook. I teach like I am talking to you directly. I use simple words. I say things like "believe me" and "right?" and "do not worry." I use stories and characters. If you are worried that your English is not strong enough, do not be. I use plain, simple English. Not academic English. Not corporate English. Just normal, everyday English that anyone who has worked in a professional setting can follow easily.

Q18: Will this course help me get a new job?

This course will help you think clearly, plan wisely, and understand what skills matter in an AI-influenced job market. It will help you avoid the mistakes most people make after job loss. It will help you build a realistic 12-month plan.Whether that plan results in a job depends on many things. The job market in your field. Your specific skills and experience. The quality of your networking. Your interview skills. These are all real factors that a course alone cannot change. What I can tell you is that people who have a clear plan and clear understanding of their situation find their next step faster than people who are confused and reactive. Clarity is an advantage. This course gives you clarity.

Q19: My job is in IT but not in networking. Is this course relevant for me?

Yes. This course is not about networking. It is about AI and the job market and financial survival. It is relevant for anyone in any IT role. Software developer, tester, business analyst, data analyst, project manager, infrastructure, support, or any other IT function. It is also relevant for people in finance, HR, operations, and any knowledge work role. The AI disruption is not limited to networking. It is touching every area of knowledge work. The framework in this course applies to all of them.

Q20: Is this course worth it if I just lost my job?

I understand the concern. You just lost income and here I am asking you to spend money on a course. That feels wrong. Right?Let me put it this way. The cost of this course is less than two days of your salary was. The clarity and plan you build in this course can save you months of wrong decisions, missed opportunities, and financial mistakes. A single better decision about your EMI negotiation in Module 5 could save you more than the course costs. A single clearer direction from Module 9 could shorten your job search by weeks. But do not take my word for it. Start with the free preview. Watch the first part completely free. If it does not feel worth it after the free preview, do not enroll. The free preview exists for exactly this reason.

Q21: What is included in the course enrollment?

You get access to all 15 hours of course content across 9 modules. You get access to the community. You get all practical exercise templates. You get the course completion certificate after finishing. And you get access to any future updates to this course during your enrollment period.

Q22: What are the pricing options?

There are options for 3-month access and 1-year access. I always recommend the 1-year plan. You will want to come back to specific modules at different points. Module 5 before you talk to your bank. Module 9 when you want to update your plan. One year access gives you that flexibility. Also, a BridgeWhy subscription gives you access to multiple courses at significantly lower cost per course than buying individually. If you plan to continue learning, check the subscription plan at bridgewhy.com/s/pages/plans.

Q23: Is there a completion certificate?

Yes. After you finish all modules, you receive a course completion certificate. You can add this to your LinkedIn profile. But I want to be honest with you. The certificate is not the important thing. The plan you build during this course is the important thing. The certificate is a bonus, not the goal.

Q24: Can I download the course videos?

Videos can be downloaded in the mobile apps. On the website, you can stream but not download. This ensures you always have the most current version of the content.

Q25: What if I need help during the course?

Ask in the community. I am active there. Other students are active there. If you are stuck on a concept, someone will help. If you have a specific question about your personal situation, ask. We treat every question as a real question that deserves a real answer. There are no stupid questions in this community.
