Lesson 1: BGP Introduction and AS Number
Internet itni badi hai ki ek single routing protocol isko handle nahi kar sakta. OSPF aur EIGRP jaise interior protocols sirf ek administrative domain ke andar kaam karte hain. BGP banaya gaya kyunki different organizations ki networks ke beech routing ke liye ek policy driven protocol chahiye tha. AS number har independent network ki identity hai. Lesson 2: Route propagation in BGP
Interior protocols sare neighbors ko routes flood karte hain. BGP yeh nahi karta. Iska reason scale aur policy hai. Jab ek route aapke AS ke ek router mein enter karti hai, to AS ke har doosre router ko bhi pata hona chahiye ki us traffic ko kahan forward karna hai. iBGP wahi mechanism hai jo yeh information AS ke andar carry karta hai. Lesson 16: Communities and Regular Expression Part-1
