Yeh koi naya hardware nahi hai, yeh WAN banane ka ek naya tarika hai. Yahan control plane (matlab dimaag, jo decide karta hai ki kaunsi path lena hai aur kaunsi policy lagani hai) ko data plane (matlab muscle, jo packet ko forward karta hai) se alag kar diya jata hai.
