What you will learn


This plan is designed as a focused 90 day journey. Here is how your three months can look.

In your first month, you will build your foundation. You will learn how networks really work, how routers and switches move data, IP addressing, subnetting and TCP. The CCNA for Beginners and Be Job Ready courses will give you the base that every networking job and every certification needs.

In your second month, you will master the core protocols. You will learn OSPF, BGP and MPLS from scratch with real configurations. These three protocols run the biggest networks in the world, and they are asked in almost every networking interview. You will also use Wireshark to see with your own eyes what these protocols do on the wire.

In your third month, you will go advanced and get job ready. You can pick the technology your goal needs: SD-WAN, SD-Access, network security with Cisco ISE, wireless, QoS, multicast or IPv6. At the same time, you will complete the Networking Interview Preparation series so you can answer questions with confidence.

Along the way, you will also learn Linux and Python basics made for network engineers, because these skills now appear in almost every job description.

In every course, you will learn the WHY behind the concept. When you understand why a technology exists, you can handle any exam question, any interview question and any real problem on a project.

For a complete journey through all technologies, the 1 Year plan gives you more time.                                               

I am a complete beginner. Can I start with this plan?

Can I prepare for a networking interview in 3 months with this plan?
